College Connect was established in 2012 as a comprehensive program for students with disabilities to enhance independence, promote academic and occupational success and create opportunities for meaningful relationships.
Created by college professors, and educational and clinical psychologists, College Connect is an evidence-informed response to the growing need for support services after high school.
Students with disabilities are being represented in greater numbers on college campuses. Although resources exist, students with disabilties often struggle with social isolation and need to advocate for themselves for the first time.
For students and their caregivers:
The first step is to contact your Regional Center Service Coordinator and request an initial interview (intake) for College Connect Services to determine eligibility.
